A collaboration beer between ourselves and 3 local producers, this barrel-aged stout features 6kg each of fresh roasted coffee from Anam Coffee and fresh roasted cocoa nibs from Hazel Mountain Chocolate, both located in the Burren. After fermentation the beer is then aged over 5 months in whiskey casks from JJ Corry.

WHAT IS IRISH WHISKEY STOUT?
A magical chemistry happens when a traditional stout is allowed to rest in a whiskey barrel. The resulting beer is silky-smooth with oaky characteristics, vanilla and dry tannins combining with the roasted malts creating a symphony of flavours.
